Back in the early 60’s The Ascots were one of the hottest bands in the Southeast playing that same new rock and roll music as Chuck Berry, Roy Orbison, and Jerry Lee Lewis. They played at frat parties, conventions, and nightspots and had their own record. But like many bands of the time, other responsibilities, growing families and permanent jobs took the band members their separate ways.
In 1988 the band got back together to play for old time’s sake and the rest is pure classic rock and roll history.
